This sapphire pendant in 750 gold combines a deep blue, oval-cut sapphire with a frame of sparkling brilliants. The central sapphire weighs 1.40 carats and shows a rich dark blue colour that stands out against the bright white gold. The oval shape of the stone forms the calm centre of the piece and is held securely by a sturdy prong setting.
Around the sapphire sit 14 brilliants totalling 0.34 carats in TW/si quality. They surround the blue stone as a closed ring and create a clear frame of light. Each brilliant rests in its own prong setting, allowing light to reach the stones from every side. This arrangement makes the sapphire pendant in 750 gold appear larger and more present without feeling overloaded. The material is 750 gold in a white gold finish, whose bright surface enhances the brilliance of the diamonds and the blue of the sapphire. The polished surface of the setting reflects the light and gives a clean, clear overall impression.
